Brandye Lauren, a.k.a. Beastmaster or Master of this Blog, lives with many various sized fuzzy four-legged intelligent lifeforms that make her smile daily.  Brandye loves Burning Man!, dental hygiene, pull-up assist machines, and animals and reptiles of many stripes and spots (including, but not limited to, cats, dogs, horses, aquatic mammals, sharks, snakes (loves as in hug ‘im, kiss ‘im, and call ‘im George), but only loves some birds and insects).

Brandye has a fear of interstellar space travel, marshmallows, spiders (except the big, fuzzy lovable ones), elevators, chainsaws, and garbage disposals.

Brandye also blogs about feminist issues, writes science fiction and is currently interviewing steampunk inventors about their real world technology.
